Dear Earline: Glenys and I were very sad to hear about Richard's death. There were many good times when I worked for Richard at the Centre - I still am using the Top Flite clubs he sold me (with staff discount!). I also remember getting to know you and the kids better as we crossed paths at the Centre. Richard was a great advocate for golf in Windsor, and a leader in community service - it was a privilege to know and work with him. Our thoughts are with you, Shauna and Rick.

Dear Earline: Our condolences to you and your family - Richard's sense of volunteerism was appreciated and admired, we enjoyed and shared many such occasions through Meals on Wheels, Life After Fifty Board and Development Fund members, and most recently Windsor Seniors Advisory Committee. We even enjoyed a golfing date together last summer and he was gentle on his advice. Richard will be missed, may he rest in peace, our deepest sympathies, Larry and Joyce Duffield.

I was so saddened to hear of Richard's passing. I only met Richard recently on the board at LAF, and we were only starting to get to know each other. Even though our friend ship was brief, I feel blessed to have known Richard and only wished we'd had more time to share stories of our journey of life.

My sincere sympathy to Earline and family. I worked at Woodalls from 1976-1982. It was my first job and I have many fond memories of Richard and his family business. I learned to swing a club there and so much about golf in general. I will certainly be thinking of Richard and his family, as well as Lydia, when I hit my first bucket of balls this year.

I remember Richard fondly in a number of different capacities. First was weekly church services at Westminister United; second was my private golf lessons at Woodall Golf Centre(I should have taken more of them) and lastly was our time together at the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland. Richard was one of our Past Presidents. My sympathies are extended to the Woodall family.

Bill and I send our condolences to the family on hearing of Richard's death. As long time friends of the Woodall "clan' we remember Richard as a happy person, always smiling . The photos bring back many memories of the Woodall golf range - such fun to play there in our youth. Richard leaves a legacy of love and laughter to his family.

Gary and I share many warm memories of times spent with the Woodall family dating back over 50 years. Gary also reaped the benefits of having the summer job at the golf range and par three course. The photos were a wonderful reminder of those special times and Richard's love of life and family. We are so sorry to learn of Richard's passing and extend our deepest sympathy to Earline, Rick, Shauna and Bill.

Remembering many good times with Richard, growing old together. We will miss him so much at "game times." Richard loved "games and good food, travel and family times." We'll miss your quick wit and one liner jokes. Love you bro.

I remember spending many days in my young years at the Woodall golf course with Shauna. Pretty sure your dad outfitted me with my first set of clubs and golf bag.  My favourite beverage there was Tahiti treat! Good times! What a great man!
