In his leisure, Mr. Wright enjoyed grilling, cooking, watching football and baseball, playing dominoes and spending time with his family. He was a huge Auburn "War Eagle" fan.

His survivors include: four children, Richard Wright, Jr. and Belinda Ann Wright both of Lanett, AL, Tracy James Wright, West Point, GA and Christine Denise Wright Dunn (Robert), Valley, AL; 12 grandchildren including special granddaughter, Shaula Dumas and special grandson, PaDarius Dumas; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Wright, LaGrange, GA; three sisters, Shirley Thompson, Columbus, GA, Lillian Livingston, Tampa, FL and Mary Lee Heard, Valley, AL; two special nieces, Brenda Chambers and Cynthia Huguley; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Willie B. Hicks, Sr., Willie J. Hall, Allen Cullwell, Sr. and Sawanda Truitt.
