Family was his world
Ricky Finis Riggins, age 45 was born June 23, 1975 in Port Hueneme Naval Hospital, Port Hueneme, California to Rick N.and Marlene Riggins. Heaven gained a new angel tonight as our beloved son, husband, and father went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ February 7, 2021. If you were to ask him, he’d tell you that he loved and enjoyed his family more than anything. He spent many weekends at his Aunt Dink’s home enjoying Barbeques along with spending quality time with his mother and helping out with what needed attention during his visits. For the last few years most of his time was dedicated to his wife Casey and youngest daughter Aubri just being a husband and a Dad. He was a hard worker, a handyman fixing and tinkering with things. He had an uncanny ability to turn pennies into dollars with the skill and quick wit of a car salesman. He had the ability to talk to anyone about anything, could light up the room with his radiant smile and charisma, gaining everyone’s attention as he walked in. His sense of humor was contagious he conveyed the ability to make himself laugh while at the same time making others laugh around him so as not to take things too seriously. A great story teller, he would use it like a tool of learning and teaching, while he transported you to another place in wonder and awe, all the while you wondered whether or not what he was telling you was true or whether you should pull up my trouser legs and get your Boots on for what was coming next. He loved working with heavy equipment and sculpting the earth with them, was an artist who loved spray painting murals, and he collected Hot Wheel cars since he was just a boy.
