Ricky Lee Goforth Sr., age 57, passed away January 27 2016 after a hard battle with cancer.  His mate of 20 years Wanda by his side. 

He is survived by his son Ricky Goforth Jr and three grandchildren his sisters Darlene and Brenda Goforth Linda Thatcher and Judy Hunley a brother Billy Goforth. 

He is proceeded in death by his brother Ray his mother Dorothy and his father JR Goforth. 

Rick worked construction most of his life and built many of the beautiful homes around Naples Florida.  Fishing and spending time with loved ones and his music and dogs were the times he enjoyed the most. His aim in the horseshoe courts was legendary and his cooking drew crowds whenever the grill sent out smoke signals.  A coach for many of  his son's sports teams Rick would be an inspiration to younger people all his life. In life he added laughter to many peoples lives and in the wake of his passing the friends he made will help each other through the days to come.

We will share the tears the hurt the good days and the hard ones.  Many hands make light work and together we can carry this load till we meet again in Paradise.
