Mr.Melvin age 70 went to be with the Lord on —at his home in Odenville with his wife by his side. Ricky was a hard working man that worked everyday rain or shine to provide for his family.. He would give a total stranger the shirt off his back..he had a strong love for God and everyone around him.Ricky was a one of a kind husband,father, grandfather, brother,uncle and friend.We will love and miss him until we reunite one day.

Mr.Melvin is survived by the love of his life his wife of 52 years Cathy Melvin children Ricky Melvin (Stacy) and Shane Melvin (Hope). Brother Joey Melvin (Vicky) and sister Janice Lovetto. Grandchildren Joseph Melvin, Christy Melvin, Hannah Melvin and 3 great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends.
