I can hardly believe that my dear Rise has been in heaven for three years. She is so close to my heart daily, it is as though she is here. A beautiful spirit that lives on and on. Sometimes I will be walking down the street and she pops in my head with her humor and loving words.
She will always be missed but never far from thoughts and prayers.
She is dancing with all the other angels and laughing her head off.

There is still a part of me missing. I think of my dear friend everyday with warmth in my heart and the joy of beautiful memories.
It didn’t matter what we did together, it was always magical and humorous.
Her positivity and wisdom was astounding. Whenever I need guidance I feel her spirit and wonderful words ringing in my ears.
My life has been richer because of her friendship. She will always dwell in my heart and soul.

The second anniversary of you getting your wings, my dear special friend. You are gone, but never ever forgotten. So often I reflect on our mini years of friendship, and I’m always left, laughing at our memories together. All of us girls dancing together. Our shenanigans. The songs we loved you chair dancing with your tongue, sticking out to the side. We called it the Risa dance. Yes forever alive in our hearts honey. You impacted us so deeply. I miss the opportunity to celebrate more years and create more memories but I’ll ride on the coattails of the 36 years of memories and friendship we had. Today I will celebrate you with a cocktail while I listen to Patrice Rushen, forget me, not. I know you loved that song. I love you my friend. Keep dancing.

I had the honor of meeting Rise when Tesa and I use to hang out in our Jr. year of high school.  Such a fun, lively, vibrant, loving lady! She use to make us laugh to no end. I only knew her a short time before I moved away but she left a lasting impression on me. Forever in our hearts. Love and prayers to all the family. Love Kim

The Day of the Caesar.  I met Rise through Bev and Troy and "The Girls". I had made a trip to Portland and it was a long trip so by the time I hit the house I was hungry and thirsty.  Bev made me a BLT and I suggested that I make the cocktails - as it was past 12 o'clock somewhere. Caesars in fact was the name of said drink. Well Rise had never heard of a Caesar made "Canadian Style"  Needless to say Rise and grandma and of course the rest of the troup had an amazing rest of the day.  Rise it was amazing meeting and everytime we texted all she talked about was how I introduced her to Canadian Caesars. We had the best weekend and everytime I met her (And I tried to make the trip when she was there) we raised our glass. Rise girl--I now raise my glass to you and miss you. You will certainly introduce this Canadian drink to all the angels you meet girl. 

Sweet, sweet, feisty, lovable, Rise....I was fortunate enough to meet Rise and the other girls through Bev many years ago. Even with their many years of friendship and memories they welcomed me the “newbie” with open arms. There was always something magnetic about Rise. Maybe it’s because I always just felt so good and happy just being in her presence. The laughs and stories were endless....I mean the good laughs. The ones that make your stomach and face hurt. We went on a girls weekend to Palm Desert one year and she would gather us for these story telling times by yelling through the house...” get up bitches! I got stories to tell” and we would all go and listen and laugh hysterically.
We all lost someone so special to us, each in our own ways. Heaven gained a true angel. And I truly believe she will make it known that she is watching down on us all...most likely in a funny feisty way. Love you always Rise. ❤️Newbie
