Eterno riposo, concedere a loro, o Signore,
e lasciare che perpetua risplenda ad essi la luce
Maggio le anime dei fedeli defunti
attraverso il ricordo di Dio, riposa in pace, AMEN
This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Rita Ann Johns, born on September 1, 1931 and passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019. She was 87 years old.
Rita was the daughter of Pasquale and Francesca Napolitano who immigrated to the United States in the 1920's from Italy. She was one of nine siblings. She was preceded in death by her siblings Lena, Jimmy, Tony, Carmie, Mimi, Samual, Sammy and is survived by her sister Rosie. Rita has three surviving children Paul, Francine, and Christina, however, her oldest son Paul is expected to join her on her new journey very soon. She has eight surviving grandchildren; Dody, Denise, Danielle, Ashley, Curtis, Tiffany, Colby, and Cassidy and ten surviving great-grandchildren; Madison, Courtney, Nathan, Paige, Alyssa, Parker, Aleena, Samatha, Allison, and Rylan. She loved all of her family, her precious dog Baracus, and her many grand-doggies.
Rita was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly. She worked for the Olga Corporation for thirty years as a Seamstress Supervisor making beautiful undergarments for ladies. She also loved to play Blackjack and Bingo, but Bingo was her passion.
Rita suffered the last ten years of her life from the awful disease of Alzheimer's. During this time, she had a wonderful caregiver and loving friend Nolvia. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Good Friday at 8:27 a.m.
We will remember her forever.
