Please would you kindly pray for me Mummy I have been ill in Hospital for a few days and only came home on the 28th December. I was looking forward for the celebration of baby Jesus but it all went wrong for us this year Mummy. I had our table ready with lots of lovely cakes, biscuits and Daddy's special cake which I buy every year. Thinking of you, Daddy and all the family was waiting to receive the Christmas but suddenly I was rushed into Hospital on the 24th evening. Anyway I thank God I am home Mummy and slowly recovering. I am sure you must have prayed for me. I was happy when I was in Hospital I saw you in my dream and I knew you have come to help me. Thank you Mummy please look after us from heaven and protect us from every sickness and danger.

I still remember like today the day we heard the news from my best friend Pam after receiving a sympathy card that you have passed away and it was too late for us to see you . My emotions were too high Anger resentment, sad the loss was too painful even to think. Mummy you were gone never to come back. I was only 22 and felt so lost. I was so angry that I never visited you until few years ago. Please forgive me mummy I was lost without you. You were like a living Saint. You took me to all the Novenas. You taught me how to pray and to do the right thing. One thing I always remember is what you told me before I left Sri Lanka at the Katunayake Airport. "Always remember that the life is not a bed of Roses." It has thorns and try and get by them then you will the other side.
Well mummy after 37 years of marriage I finally found out what you meant by that. I got by life remembering your words and somehow struggle through life. I don't have to say any more as you can see what's happening from above. I am so sorry that I didn't come to visit you for some years but now I know you are guiding and helping me. Thank you mummy for everything. I love you with all my heart for everything you have given all of us. Specially for the prayers.
