RITA BERNADETTE CUNNINGHAM SERRAVALLI- HOWARD

San Francisco, CA ---- Rita Bernadette Cunningham Serravalli-Howard passed away peacefully on Feb. 17, 2017, after a lengthy illness. She was 71.
She was born in Hell's Kitchen, New York, to Daniel and Florence Cunningham on Sept. 13, 1945. She was pre-deceased by her parents and first husband, Frank Serravalli Sr. of San Francisco. She is survived by her second husband of 40 years, M.P.R. Howard of Massachusetts and San Francisco; two sons, Frank Serravalli Jr. of San Francisco, and Arthur-Daniel Girardo Howard of Florida; three nieces, Patricia Nagle, Maureen Doll and Fran Donohue, and lifelong friend Richard Votz of Long Island; partner of Patrick, Brandi Zarbok of Colorado; and several grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a third son, Patrick-Kelly Sean Howard of Colorado and San Francisco, in 2006; two brothers, Daniel Cunningham of Florida and Tommy of Brooklyn, and a sister, Florence Doll, of Long Island.
Rita loved her New York Yankees and Elvis. In spite of being hearing-impaired, Rita retired from the University of California, San Francisco, Parnassus, after 20 years, where she had many friends who cared for her.
