ABDUL RITA ILAI was born on JULY 21, 1990, in Benue State, to the family of Mr & Mrs A.Y Idakwoji of Elika-Olowa in Dekina LGA of Kogi State.
She started her Educational Career in 1996 where she attended Trans-Ekulu Primary School in Enugu State, and obtained FSLC. After completion of her Primary School, she then proceeded to Command Secondary School, Enugu, but our Dad, being a Civil Servant, was transferred to Kaduna State, Late Rita, as a result went to Saint Michael's Anglican College, Kaduna, where she rounded-up her Secondary School Education and obtained her WASC. Upon completion of her Secondary Education, she gained Admission into Kogi State University (KSU) Ayingba, where she also obtained a Bachelor Degree in Theatre Arts in 2013.
In 2014 she enrolled into a One Year NYSC Compulsory Service to Serve her Father's Land in Delta State Ministry of Arts & Culture, where she stood outstanding.
As a Theatre Arts Graduate, she featured and acted in some Nigerian Movies, notable amongst them is "Against My Soul".
Late Rita didn't just stop at Acting Movies, she delved into the Educational Sector. She was employed as a Class Teacher in " The Anointed International School " Gonin-Gora, Kaduna and taught English Language, Literature, CRS and Home Economics respectively, until her sudden demise.
Growing up for her was fun, she loved to crack jokes at everything, she was a lover of children, was never never afraid to speak her mind, loves to encourage people to keep Faith in God. She was a Home Cell Coordinator, Her Faith in God was unwavering. She believed she was going to be healed, even in her last moments she believed in Eternal Glory.
Her favorite quote was "IN CHRIST ALONE, MY HOPE IS FOUND".
Finally, as a family, we are happy that our Daughter/Sister and Aunt found Christ, experienced Christ and remained in Christ till her last breathe.
We know that in life and according to Divine Arrangement "Everything Happens for a Reason. We may not see it now, but sooner or later, God will reveal why HE let things happen. We should always remember that His Way is better than our Ways, His Will is beyond our will. We should always put our Trust in Him..
