Thanks to all Robbie's family and friends who planned yesterday's service.   We felt blessed by all the memories you shared.  She is missed greatly and will forever have made a difference.  Well done thou good and faithful servant Robbie Waldron.

Although we did not know Robbie for a long time, she was gracious enough to open up her home and treat us like we had known her forever.

We often spoke in private of her unwavering faith and love for God in the midst of fighting her serious health condition.

Robbie's actions and love for others demonstrated to us her incredible character and Godliness. We are very confident that Robbie is now at peace and with our Lord and Saviour.

We wish only for continued healing, hope and love for Tim and the entire family. It was obvious Robbie was a very special child of God, woman for others and she will be greatly missed.

God bless,

Rob and Ria Winchester

Robbie was like a sister to me. I'll never forget a couple of years ago when they came to visit after Christmas and Amanda, Robbie and I shared a bottle of wine and we just laughed over the littlest things. She always had good things to say about someone. She was awesome person who loved life to it's fullest and I will forever miss her.

She was a bottle of sunshine

Her smile would light up a room.                                                                      Her heart was total an pure.                                  Robbie genuine in spirit in every way                          True love in everything she did.                              She was so full of fun                              One of my favorite memory’s hanging out an telling jokes.                                           No one can, or has ever told the wide mouth frog joke better than Robbie.                                           I can still see her acting out the story of the wide mouth frog .                                How we love to laugh.                                  I am going to miss that.                                     I am going to miss you Robbie my sweet sister in law. You were special in my heart you take a piece of it with you.                      Till we meet again keep the wide mouth frog close till we see each other.                    I love you, I miss you, but walk in peace my sweet friend.                                      You have earned your wings.

Bill and I first met Robbie when our son, JEFF, was dating Amanda.   Robbie was such a sweet and kind person and we felt this the first time we met her.   One of my favorite memories of Robbie is the day we went shopping for Amanda’s wedding dress.   Grandma Duke joined us and I was thrilled to be included in this exciting day.   We will always remember the day we went looking for houses in Alton with JEFF, AMANDA and Robbie.   While we were at one of the houses Robbie and Bill went to look at the back yard and came out full of mud.   They had gotten stuck in the mud in the back yard - it had rained the night before.   We still laugh about the two of them coming out of the yard with their shoes covered in mud! After looking at houses we had lunch at Fast Eddies!   One of our favorite memories is sitting in the hospital waiting room with Tim, Robbie, John and Jennifer the evening that Emily was born.   We were all so excited when Jeff came in to tell us that Emily had arrived and mom and baby were doing well!   Halloween nights in Alton were also very special times shared with Tim and Robbie.   We feel very blessed to have known Robbie and to have these wonderful memories of her.

She never changed

Besides Robbie knowing who she was in Christ, she had a real good sense of your position also. We talked not about hospital stays, but opportunities to introduce others to His friendship. I will miss this outreach warrior

Life Well Lived: Sweet Friend Robbie

August 9, 2018

I have been honored and blessed to be a friend of Robbie.  She was a very genuine, kind person.  Her compassion and sincere love for others was always evident and she lived a life of putting others first.  Her faith was not only admirable but encouraging.  Last year when she was in the hospital very sick, I told her she was very blessed; her husband adores her, her children love and respect and honor her-I said a good name is better than riches and a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised- I said there are many women who would envy her if they knew her- and she looked at me with a surprised look, and said “really”!  Yes dearest Robbie, you lived well and have a beautiful legacy, you were very loved

Robbie and Games

August 8, 2018

Of all the Hellrung children there was no more fun loving and competitive than Robbie. Believe me that's saying a lot because my other siblings love a challenge and are off and running, but Robbie would always stick it out even when it was clear she was beaten. She didn't care; she'd just laugh and remind us that, "He who laughs last laughs best!"

She taught me to not be afraid to play the game... whatever challenge life puts before us...if we have faith in God and love all of God's creatures all is and will be well. She even taught me some ways to beat the game Sudoku.  When she saw me getting impatient with trying to solve a puzzle once, she gently smiled that great smile of hers and said, "Here let me show you how I beat Tim when we Sudoku race." Now whenever I use her trick I smile and think of her.

One consolation is knowing she is with Mother. I can hear them laughing and celebrating their joyous reuion. Like the Bob Hope song Mother used to enjoy, "Thanks for the memories."♥️

I have so many memories from the many years I knew Robbie. Here are my brief highlights:

One time in Middle school when Amanda had to stay up all night for some medical tests and Robbie let her invites a couple friends to help her stay up and we went to Walmart and played games and made the best of it!

Sleepovers at the Waldron’s house. Always fun, no matter what we did.

I remember when Tim and Robbie updated/redecorated their kitchen and Robbie LOVED her new cloud wallpaper (or paint). I thought it was so unique and she loved it.

8th grade class trip to Branson!

I met up with Amanda, Ben, Robbie, and Grandma Duke’s at Fast Eddie’s one time! It was so fun!

When Tim and Robbie so generously allowed me to come to Florida for a week and stay with them. I remember having cocktails on the beach and laying out with Robbie.

Always hearing her talk about their trips to Florida every Summer. Robbie loved going there with her family and loved all the friends they made in New Smyrna Beach. I remember specifically hearing about the Martini parties, the walks on the beach, and the memories made every year. It was always something she was so proud to talk about.

Amanda’s wedding showers (at the wineries and at Grandma Duke’s).

Amanda’s wedding! It was such a great day, and Robbie was so beautiful that day! So proud to watch her only daughter get married!

She was such a strong woman (in her faith, her love, her guidance, her illness, and her fight). She was always so positive and uplifting. I don’t think I ever once heard her say a negative thing about anyone.

Jeff and I did small group with Tim and Robbie back in 2000 or so when we lived in St Louis.  The one thing we are forever grateful is Robbie helping to make us aware of our sons autism/ up until that time we only thought it was a focus problem.  We got educated and became advocates for him and now he's driving and has his own apartment and does well for himself.   We know Robbie is with Jesus but we know it's gonna be very difficult for the whole family.  One sorta funny thing about their whole family is ...we met them on vacation in Florida one year and they invited us to play Scrabble with them. Never play Scrabble with them.  They are all brains.  We got skunked!
