Rainbows Are Forever
The rainbow was special in mine and Bob's lives. It was our covenant with God. He gave us a beautiful, special rainbow on the day that Bob proposed to me in New York - July 17, 1997, another on our wedding day in Jamaica - November 19, 1997, and another in Mobile, Alabama the day He called Bob home to Heaven - October 10, 2002.
Bob and I were soulmates. We knew it the very first time we met. That won't ever change. We shared a love that was special. Most people never have what we had. We had a honeymoon relationship that would have lasted a lifetime had we had that long to share it. We talked about our dreams and plans of growing old together. Unfortunately, that life was cut short.
Bob, I miss you everyday. The love we shared will last through eternity. It will never die. And one day, we will see each other again in Heaven. I will never forget one of the last things you said to me before you died: "remember, everytime you see a rainbow, know that I am thinking of you and that God and I love you."
I will never forget the love you gave me and the happiness we shared. Thank you for that.
I will love you forever,
Judy
