Robert was raised in Tacoma, Washington and attended Souls Harbor Apostolic Church where he was baptized in Jesus Name as a child, and later received the Holy Ghost in the last year of his life.

As a child, he was very giving, tenderhearted, fun loving, gentle, easy going, loved people and valued his family and friends, at which he carried these fine qualities with him into adulthood. Everyone who knew Robert as an adult would say that he loved to joke around and was quite the jokester, as only Robert could be, in his own unique way.

He enjoyed making others laugh with his comedian spirit, however, there was also a serious side of Robert that he portrayed when he needed to be serious. Everyone who knew Robert will also remember him for his giving kind spirit and tenderheartedness toward his family and humanity.

Robert also loved to listen to the King James Version Bible on his phone, play video games, hang out with his family and friends, sing, and play with his dog Rocky.

During his healthier years, he enjoyed the outdoors: camping, fishing and swimming. At the age of 22, on May 21, 2012, he married the love of his live, Vickie Ferguson, in Federal Way, Washington.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Lee Zuniga; grandparents, Charles Edward Tackett, Rose Mary Adams, Domingo Zuniga and Maria Garza Zuniga; his cousins Maranatha (Marni) Rae Hughes and Jeremy Ryan Tackett.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Vickie; his stepchildren, Allen and Ashley; his parents, Arthur and Corann Zuniga; his brothers, Jonathon Davis, Joseph Tackett, Michael Zuniga, Arthur Zuniga, Andy Zuniga and Alex Zuniga; his sisters, Elizabeth MacPhereson, Victoria Zuniga, Rebecca Gettys, and Cindy Trevino; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert was very much loved and will be sorely missed.
