Born in 1939  my dad (robert bell)grew up in Blantyre,Lanarkshire Scotland.As a young adult he moved to England and settled in coventry west midlands where he met and married Joan Dean in october 1961.in july 1962 their first child was born,a daughter lynda ann,shortly followed in august 1963 by a second daughter Elaine.A third daughter was born in 1965 sandra(Me)and later in 1968 and 1970 two sons were born Ian and Robert Thomas aka Robbie.my dad worked in various jobs though his main occupation was as a window cleaner.Living most of his married life in Woodend in Coventry he was very well known not just the area he lived in but all over coventry where he was known as Shaky,or bobby.he was quite a character with a witty allbut dry sense of humour and had many friends in the pubs he liked to frequent including;the infamous "live & let live" the white horse,the shire horse the rose & crown and the golden fleece to name but a few.
