His Life

Mr. Robert (Bob) E. Coleman Sr. was born to Mr. Price Coleman and Ms. Velma Hornbuckle in Marion, Alabama on June 24, 1942. He transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday October 22, 2015.

Bob retired from General Motors in Detroit, MI after 20+ years of service. He moved back to Alabama in 1993. Later, he became a deacon at Oak Grove #4 Baptist church and served until his health failed.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his devoted wife Mrs. Johnnie I. (Braswell) Coleman, whom he met and married in Detroit, MI. Also, his only son Robert E. and Kamisha Coleman Jr. and three grandchildren Kamren, Reese, and Robert (Tre’) E. Coleman III and numerous adopted children whom he loved.

He also leaves behind five siblings: Charles Bennett, James. A Coleman, Rosilind Coleman, Regina C. and Charles Tolliver, and Ronald and Cynthia Coleman. Also four sister-in-laws and all his many other family and friends.
