This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, ROBERT (BOB) GIBSON, 85, born on September 26, 1931 and passed away on June 17, 2017. We will remember him forever. We thought of you with love today, but that was nothing new, We thought of you yesterday and the day before too. We think of you with silence, we often speak your name, All we have now are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memories are our keepsakes, with which we'll never part, God has you in safekeeping; we have you in our hearts. It broke our hearts to lose you; but you did not go alone, A part of us went with you, the day God called you home...

Thinking about you everyday and especially today Dad on your Birthday. I miss you and think about you so so much..Its been 3 months since you died and i still cant believe your gone. I know you are watching over me with God i feel your presence everyday. I remember and treasure your last birthday cuz you spent it with me:) I love you Daddy and want you to know that you are deeply missed every second of everyday. RIP

Bob was always upbeat; always had a smile on his face. Always smelled of cigars and Axe. What I will miss about Bob is how young hearted he was. Bob thought he was 18, and I believed him. I know he had to have always been the life of the party. I'm sure he is making God laugh right now. He will be missed greatly and I will never forget his sense of humor.

We will all miss Bob. We were blessed with 8 years of friendship. Many a meal was shared with laughter and love. Bob attended some Halloweens; Thanksgivings and almost all of our birthday parties, including the ones we held for him every year with excitement and jokes. He did love steaks. He also loved BlackBerry Cobbler, and beets and pickles.. The 4th of July fireworks was fun in the parking lot that year. Thanks for all the joy Bob. I raise a toast in your name. We will honor your life with stories.

Grampa was the guy who made me laugh but seeing him go is sad.I hope he's watching over us and laughing right now.And we should hope and pray that god and him are watching over us and we should hope not another family member leaves.

Bob was a very good friend of mine for close to 40 years. I will miss him and his big cigar! He was a one of a kind person. He would give a friend just about anything that he had. He had a heart of gold. Although, he wasn't someone who you wanted mad at you. 
He always had a Corona beer in his fridge for me!!! He knew how to win my heart!  I'm sure he is now "bench racing" with all of his buddy's ! Rest In Peace Bob, I will see you later. I love you❤️

Bob was my bestest friend and neighbor for 18 yrs. He gave and did so much for me, all I did was ask and it didn't matter what, or if he didn't feel like doing it, he did it regardless. I spent many nite cruising with him and going to Dennys. We were both alone but we weren't lonely. It broke my heart to have to move away from him cuz I knew he wasn't feeling good and he knew not to tell me too much about that cuz I lost it once before when he got sick. I am so upset at myself for not calling or visiting until the day after. I lost my chance to spend just a few minutes even with him so I could tell him once more that I love him forever. Rest in peace "Big Daddy" Hopefully we'll meet again.

What s great person to call friend!!! We met Bob thru his dear friend, Glenn Crossno, another great guy!!! Racing was our world, still is!!! ❤️

Robert was one of our best friends for many years. He was the brother I never had. . We will miss and think of him every day. He was a true and wonderful friend to have. He always seemed so happy to see us and talk about his racing life . . his children . . and ours. God only made one

I cherish this video and the moment with my dad that day, he was just really starting to become so tired and weak from the chemo treatments and was in pain but he made sure he came to my birthday party and just like always whenever i needed or wanted my daddy he was there:) 12 days after this video was taken my dearest daddy passed away:(
