I met Bob about 20 years ago, by being invited to play on his golf team along with Jerry Burns and Bill Dotson. He quickly earned my respect with his intelligence, always steady personality and the immediate friendship he offered not only to me, but also to seemingly everyone he made contact with. What a great sense of humor, and I'm honored to have been the butt of some of his finest jokes. Well done Bob, you'll be missed and remembered by all of us who had the pleasure to be around you in this wonderful world. May we meet again in Heaven. -- Dave Ryan

I will never forget the first time I met this incredible man. I sat in the front seat of his truck then he hit me with a newspaper, cracked a joke, and made me feel completely welcome in his presence. His smile and sense of humor is something that I will cherish forever. The impact that he left on his family and friends is powerful beyond words. Thank you Mr. Lowe. You will be missed.

I remember when I had to write a real resume, Bob was the first person I asked if I could use him as a reference, in typical Bob fashion he said of course. RIP Bob, great man

I only met Bennet's Papaw once and he was with out a doubt one of the kindest and most genuine persons I have ever had the privelege of meeting. He had a wonderful sense of humor and got a good kick out of me referring to myself as a simple man for ordering a simple breakfast. He was certainly so much more than just a simple man and will continued to be cherished!
