“And after a long time the boy came back again.
"I am sorry, Boy," said the tree, "but I have nothing left to give you-
My apples are gone."
"My teeth are too weak for apples," said the boy.
"My branches are gone," said the tree.
"You cannot swing on them-"
"I am too old to swing on branches," said the boy.
"My trunk is gone," said the tree.
"You cannot climb-"
"I am too tired to climb," said the boy.
"I am sorry," sighed the tree.
"I wish that I could give you something... but I have nothing left. I am an old stump. I am sorry..."
"I don't need very much now," said the boy, "just a quiet pleace to sit and rest. I am very tired."
"Well," said the tree, straightening herself up as much as she could,
"well, an old stump is a good for sitting and resting. Come, Boy, sit down. Sit down and rest."
And the boy did.
And the tree was happy.”
Shel Silverstein - The Giving Tree, 1964.

Robbie I will never forget visiting you at your home. We never ran out of things to talk and laugh about. Rest In Peace. You will not be forgotten

I remember when you were just a baby. Your mom brought you into Hooks drugstore at Twin Air in your stroller. What a beautiful baby with his curly hair! Fly high with the Angels!

Robbie
Life wasn't fair to you and neither was I. You deserved better than what you got. I am so proud to call you my son. You managed at the last moment to graduate high school. You made your way through college. You bought your new car and home all by yourself. You were and still are my sunlight through the trees. I love you more than anything.

Robbie was a great person was always kind to me he never held back and always made you laugh he never hid who he was and I always respected him for that. I wish he knew how much I loved him as a person and as family. Fly high with your grandmother I know she welcomed you with open arms.
