On February 18th 2023 Pascale's husband lost his battle with Cancer. He was only 69 years old and we have been robbed of our long lives together. My broken heart will never completely heal only get easier. I love you with all my heart and will miss you every day of the rest of my life. Dad and Uncle Peter please have a toast and watch over all of us.

Robert was born in Brides-les-Bains, Savoie, France on December 14, 1933.

After serving in the French Military from 1951 – 1954 he fulfilled his Culinary Apprenticeship working for more than 16 Restaurants in France, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium and Canada.

Robert and Josette were married in France lived in Canada for a short time then moving to Oakland and finally nested in Alameda in 1962 to become Citizens and fulfill their dream of becoming Restaurateurs.

Historically Robert a Master Chef in San Francisco and later in Alameda was the Owner of "Le Bouc Restaurant" for over 32 years.

He enjoyed Snow skiing, Waterskiing, Hunting, Cooking and shared these times with his loving wife of 52 years Josette, son Eric Chevreux, daughter Pascale Reck, and Grandsons Brandon, Beau, Didier and Etienne Chevreux.

He was loved by all and will be Deeply Missed. Au revoir LeBouc....

Memorial Services will be on Saturday August 6, 2011- 1:30pm. at Speisekhammer (formally the LeBouc Restaurant), 2424 Lincoln Avenue Alameda, Ca.
