True happiness with the life shared with Myrna

March 4, 2021
All the thoughts of my Uncle Bob have nothing but kindness and happiness though out my life.  You could see his happiness and contentment with Mynra in his life and through the special relationship that his sister had with him.  He will be truly missed but memories will forever be ours to share and find comfort with.     Mike and Jamie Wood

Bob and I had a great time during our marriage.  We traveled, we had family get together times each summer; we got along famously.  We even traveled to Hawaii one December at Christmas time.  We ran out of time before we could take a cruise to Alaska and we always intended going to Maine during the Fall.  We had many good memories of all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The family dinners were very special.  I will miss him so very much; however, I know I will see him again.  He was ready to go and I dearly love his prayer he said daily:  Jesus, I trust in You, Jesus I love you, Jesus I need you.  Then he would fold his hands and say, "Amen".  He was very much at peace with death.  I love you so much Bob.  I will see you in Heaven!  Myrna

I spent several summer's with Uncle Claude and Aunt Helen.  Bob was alway's finding a way to tease Donna Jean and I.  It was a fun time.  Remember he brought the boy's to our farm to visit and they had to fish. Later year's when he came back for Memorial Day we alway's got together for a few hour's.  Will miss talking to him, We should have done it more often, but I know he is at peace.  LOVE  Donna

My Fondest Memory

February 23, 2021
I was a young guy, maybe 12 years old. Bob took me up to the mountains. Just him and I. He packed a cooler with a case of beer and a case of Mountain Dew which was like heaven to me. "WOW! A whole case of Mountain Dew just for me?" "Yep. Just for you!" he said.

We took his old blue Ford pickup with the popup camper on it and spent 2 nights deep in the forest.
I remember he would burp and say "That's not bad manners, that's just good beer". He never, ever got drunk in front of me but he sure loved a cold can of beer.

On our way back, we stopped and with his pocket knife, he carved in a tree a heart and the letters M&B in the middle of it. He sure loved my Mom.

I'll miss him dearly. I love you Bob. Thanks for the great memories.
