Robert was a loving husband of 48 years to his wife Rosita he has 8 children Edie Tate , Mary Denlinger, Cathrine Wayson, Victora Tate, Deborah Abell , Robert Tate jr, Jennifer Mckenney and Shawn Tate 3 son-in-laws John Denlinger, Paul Abell, and James McKenney sr,  one daughter-in-law  Christina Tate. 13  Grandchildren  Rose Tate, Amanda Tate, John Denlinger jr , Donald Wayson jr, Timothy Wayson , Noah Wayson, Cathleen Tate, Jaymie Abell , Jaqueline Abell, Samantha Abell , James McKenney jr Joann McKenney, Angel McKenney he has 5   Great-Grandchildren Gyvauyane Tate, Mackenzie Tate, Carmela Wayson, Zoey Barton, Kingston Wayson. Mother Edith Edlen Father  Paul Tate Step-Father James Edlen  he had one brother Paul Tate 4 sisters Nacy Hamm, Frances Pitsenberger, Virgina Welch, Margaret Hess. Robert served in the Navy when he got out he joined Mount Rainier Fire Deparment he then left there and went on to Mount Rainier Police K-9 with his dog Fritz he then left that to deliver for sears company he then left that to become a mechanic to work on trucks for Ryder Truck Rental he was with them for 43 years when he went out on disabilty. He then stayed home with his family. Robert was a very loving man he cared for everyone did not matter who you were if you were hungery his kitchen was always open to everyone if you need a place to stay his home was opened too if you just need someone to talk to he was there for you he never sugar coated anything he told you the truth even if that is not what you wanted to hear he had a heart of solid gold so not only did he take care of his family he also lended a hand if anyone ever need if he had it he would give it to you know matter what it was the only thing he did not like was if someone lie to him or stole from him or his family. Robert was a very understand person all you had to do was talk to him. When you meet him you had a friend for life with him not unless you messed it up ,but other then that he would always be there until the end
