Today we share yet another Birthday. I was missing you Daddy more this weekend and then I remembered why. It's Our Birthday.
Mommy greeted me bright and early this morning just like you used to do.
That made me smile. :)

Daddy would have been 80 today this his day of birth. He is missed beyond measure. I thank God I had a father who loved GOD with all of his heart in spite of his imperfections. The greatest treasure he left me was his wisdom. One pearl he left me I cherish always is he once told me remember God loves you even more than I do. Priceless....I never forget how much God loves me no matter what, unconditionally. Thank You Daddy for loving God and imparting that love to me and looking forward to Christ return and our reunion. Remembering my Father on the 2nd anniversary of his passing.
I am so Grateful for his music Ministry that he left for us. He left us The Gift of his Love for Christ in song. He chose each song that he recorded for a reason. Because the lyrics reflected a better place and for something for us to look forward to...songs of hope, songs of the Love of Jesus. I thank God for that.

Fathers Day 2016, Missing my Daddy beyond measure but joy cometh in the morning.....Trust in Gods promises and know that God is our ultimate father and Daddy lived a life worthy of God and was well lived. I am sure he will hear Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant......AMEN!!

My Father was not a saint. He was a sinner. 
But I was reminded of these passages over in the BIBLE-Good Book.
Luke 15: 7 & 10, 15:7 "I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance." 10 "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."

My Father repented and repented over and over again, bringing joy to heaven many many times. I just thought about that :)

I only just saw the obituary for Mr Taylor today while reading the Pacific Union Recorder. What a wonderful musical inspiration he was to us all! He was our choir teacher at SUA when I was a student in 1972. Truly enjoyed the pictures his family have posted for our view. I lost my mother and father too and I can only say, love and good memories never go away! My heart felt grief for the Taylor family. Mr. Taylor was an amazing musician, teacher and friend to everyone he met. He had a sense of humor that always made me smile!

I year ago Daddy fell asleep in Jesus, I pray we will all be reunited in that Great Gettin Up Morning.....Sleep Well Daddy, in a twinkling of an eyes you will made anew and Jesus will call you forth and he will say Well done thy good and faithful servant....... I can not wait to see My Jesus Face and Dapper Daddy with no pains or old age and a new pep in his step. Sweet Slumber Daddy, Sweet Slumber...... Wish you were here to go on my trip to General Conference....got it from you.....Taking the Saints to SDA Mecca....Sigh.....Good Night my King Daddy.....

My Words About My Daddy......Stage 5 of the grief process has set in....Daddy now awaits Christ return as he slumbers as a Christian Minister & Pastor of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, A solider in the army of God & Jesus Christ our Savior , who fought a good fight, Baptised many souls for Christ and was a champion for Youth in our World Church of Seventh -Day Adventist and every community he graced with his gifts. All children and youth from all faiths and walks of life were welcome in our home and anywhere he was. As for his music my father was a Prodigy, a truly gifted man of all aspects of music. He was a Musician, a Pianist, Organist, a gifted Soloist, a Recording Artist with several records yes indeed, a Chorus Director, Writer, Arranger and a Orchestra Conductor. He passed on Music to all of his Children as we all sing and two play musical instruments as well as several of the grandchildren. Used instruments were often all over the house as he would find them cheap at pawn shops and yard sales for his youth bands and orchestral emsambles. Sometimes he was so obsessed it drove us nuts. Rehearsals in our home were a constant and the sounds of Classical and Sacred were our sound track of life, in our home. Many groups were formed in our living room. The Inland Empire Choraleers, The Passons, Madrigals, Message and Taylor Made to name a few. Education was also emphasize and pushed heavily. Daddy taught Bible, Math and Music at both the K-12 Academy and University level.
I remember very clearly him teaching Algebra at Loma Linda and because it was a night class and Mommy worked as a nurse in the Loma Linda hospital grave yard shift. Daddy would take us girls to class with him sit us with paper and pencils and instead of us doodling we would write down what he wrote on the board. Janis and I learned math very young and knew algebraic equations at 2 and 3 years of age Lisa was a toddler. It was a blessing when I got to high school I aced algebra, Calculus and Trig and praise God he was there to help me when I had Quantitative Behavioral Science Statistics that class was the vain of my Grad School life. If I had a struggle Daddy was a phone call away to help. A tutor he was as well helping youth of the Church excel as well in their studies. Collectively in our immediate family my father, mother and sisters we have 12 Degrees and Law School is on the horizon for me. And then there is Pathfinders.... Drum and Bugle Corps....Drill Teams Color Guards and The Horses. How many Pathfinders are there who's lives were changed by this club for youth? Daddy was a gifted historian and researcher he would know facts only Jesus knew and his Genealogy work on our family dates back to the 16th Century to Orange Free State South Africa and Yes I am a Royal....LOL. Many family trees have grown because of my fathers research and I hope it helps many find joy and peace in knowing where they came from. God knows whom to place where and it is only now I am seeing just how many peoples lives he touched. God has truly blessed our family even though sometimes it did not seen so. I thank God for the Daddy I was given even though he drove me nuts these last 2.5 years. But I had the last two years with one on one time and now I see the gift I was given. God knows BEST at all times. If I have been given nothing else by my parents I was given JESUS and for that I have been given the gift of Eternal Life if I stay faithful to Gods plans for my life. So Daddy I release you to sleep in Jesus as it is his face you will gaze upon next...when the trump sounds and you are called out of the grave, oh death where is your sting take your rest Daddy...sleep well...cause you have a great gettin up morning to rest for...I pray the words you hear next will be our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...saying to you. Well Done Thou Good and faithfully Servant!!.....If anyone here reading or hearing this has NOT accepted Christ as their Personal Savior I invite you to do so now, so you too will have the right to the tree of life. Jesus accept your child who may read this and ask for you to come into their heart so that too they can find Peace that passes all understanding in Jesus name amen....Glory to God in the highest!!!
