Bobby floyd was my father as i was growing up it was rough but as i got older he made up for it its hard for me to belive that he is gone i so close to him i could call him no matter what time. It was an he was there he was one of the vest fsthers a daughter could ever ask for an best grandfather i could ever ask for he tought just about everything i needed to know to get thro life an i miss him everyday it been hard but i know its him thsts been givin the stregth to stay strong love u daddy

I met Bobby almost 9 years ago when I moved to Henry County from Shepherdsville.  He was one of the first people I met here.  He told me Mike would never marry me and I told him I wasn't interested in getting married!  Two weeks later we were celebrating with Bobby on the river after we got married on the locks.  He became a true friend.  Always there when you needed him and always told you like it was.  He will be missed so much and Lockport will never be the same!
