Let the memory of Robert (“Rob”) Emerson Balzer live forever!
  • 65 years old
  • Born on November 20, 1953 in Burbank, California, United States.
  • Passed away on March 19, 2019 in Burbank, California, United States.
  • It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Brother, Husband, Son and Uncle Rob. He was an amazing, kind, caring, loving person and lived life to the fullest! One of his greatest passions was dirt bike riding in the desert with his circle of family and friends. Rob was an Army Veteran and fortunate to touch so many lives in a difficult but rewarding career for many years as an X-Ray Technician, ironically at the same hospital “St. Joseph’s” in Burbank where he was born. He is preceded in death by his Father Eldred Lyle Balzer and leaves behind his wife of 42 years Lynn, his Mother Helen, 3 Sisters: Diane Jones, her son and Rob’s nephew Austin Jones, Susan Balzer, Carol Woods, her 2 sons: Sean & Kyle Woods, and Rob & Lynn’s precious, hilarious pet bird named “Newt”. We will always remember Rob’s fun, highly intelligent, interesting knowledgeable and colorful sense of presence and humor. He loved everyone close to him. “Gone Too Soon!” We all love and miss you dearly brother Robby. God Bless! Your sister, Diane

Today you would have turned 66 and probably been rolling your eyes at another silly birthday card from me, but in lieu of the card, I will shed a few tears and tell you how much I miss you and think about All the fun and crazy things we did together. I sorely miss you little brother. Happy Birthday! R.I.P.  ❤️

Rob,
You're gone too soon. I've been missing your presence in the operating room since you left St. Joe's. Your funny sense of humor, your sarcasm (to match mine) and your energy. We had some fun and I'm sorry we will never be able to reminisce. Looking at the pictures from your life remind me of what I loved about you and Lynn. It looks like you had some really good times with your family and friends. I will miss you.
