I know that Mr.Sanford is missed by all his family and friends. He was a caring and kind person and took great care of all his family. I miss his sense of humor.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Robert Eugene Sanford, Sr who was born on October 16, 1934 and passed away on January 8, 2009. We will remember him forever.
Bobby was the son of Victor E. Sanford, Sr. and Mary Lorenz and a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas
He was a 1953 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He enjoyed fishing and making fishing weights. He always provided for his family from the gardens he would plant yearly. He loved the beach and the beach is where he will return. He will be missed as he was loved greatly.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Peggy Blankenship Sanford, his children Sandy Woods, Robert E. Sanford, Jr (Theresa), Kenneth C. Sanford, Sr. (Sheila), Andy Sanford, Douglas Sanford (Carrie) and Peggy J. Trahan (Dwain)
12 grand children: Christopher Lout, Heather Davis, Kenneth Sanford, Jr., Bobby J Sanford, Robert E Sanford III, Michael Sanford, Paul Jason Sanford, Phillip Sanford, Beth Sanford, Allyson Trahan, Savannah Sanford and Emily Sanford.
2 great grandchildren: Adyn Thomas and Isabella Payge Sanford.
A brother Fred Sanford.
