If it weren't for my cousin's Bob & Marge, I might not ever have been a musician. I will always remember as a child listing to Bob play his drums. he inspired me to also play the drums but I later move on to guitar. I think the first time I ever hear Tommy by The Who was with my cousins.
Rest in peace cuz

You are forever in my heart and some times I cry that your not here but you will never be forgotten I learned so much from you in those 18 years God gave us together. You were a great drummer and I loved to watch you play I knew your heart and soul went into your drums you played with passion.Thank you my love for teaching me so much and helping me to learn about your Greek heritage that you were so proud of. Your parents Tina and Sam were wonderful to me and for that I will always be grateful. I loved on the weekends you always managed to talk to your sister Marge in Texas she played such a special part in your life it was a blessing to see. Your girls Kate, Lindsay,Maya, and Jillian have turned out so well for losing there mother Vicki so early in there lives but I have had the proud pleasure to watch them all,to grow up and all be beautiful young Greek ladies and mothers. So my love my life is empty but you are always in my heart. Ollie misses her daddy too but we will all be together again one day so until the day God calls me home my love I cherish all my memories and keep them in my heart . I will see you again my love . I miss you terribly so sorry you had to go so fast but thank you for sharing your life with me we are never really apart .Take care until we meet again!‍

His Life

Bob The Greek Drummer

January 11, 2021
Bob grew up in Buffalo New York the son of Sam and Tina Soter, he was a good Greek so his sister Marge played a big part in his musical background. He also had a love for cars and racing on weekends he would go to the track and race his car as he got older he formed a love for NASCAR races. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Sr they both shared the same birthday. Sadly Dale died doing what he loved racing. Through the years Bob was in many bands as a power drummer he played with passion, for his drums that he played so well.Weekends The Backroad Band would play as Bobs wife I developed a love for his drums taking them down loading them in the car and helping him unload his drums at the gigs and watching him make those drums talk it was beautiful I had the pleasure of sharing those drums for 18 years I love his drums they mean the world to me only in a different way than Bob.But sadly the drums got hard for Bob to play he was afraid he would not remember how to play a song.He was fighting but I was not sure what was happening till one day he got very sick I called the ambulance and watched and followed the ambulance to the hospital ER. After much testing and working to see what was wrong Bobs doctors said he had cancer in his liver . My world stopped and within two weeks on June18,2020 at 11:35 at night Bob left us. His drums were silent and my love was gone how could I go on with out him I still have days I can’t stop crying. Other days I just am in my house so still with our baby dog Ollie knowing my life is forever changed. Some days I set in the living room just looking at his drums and some how they give me comfort and at the same time they will never sound like those days when Bob played them he left me a gift of love in his drums I am so glad I had that time.He will be forever loved from the love I have in my heart.Thank you honey till we meet again
