Robert (Bob) Nixon, 78, of Millville passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Samaritan in Voorhees Twp. from complications of surgery.
Presently a resident of Millville, prior to that he resided in Penns Grove, Cape May, and Vineland. He served in the Navy and Reserves. Before retirement Bob was in Management Position for Vineland Farmers Market, Cumberland Green and Oak Valley Apartments. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and “Tinkering” in his Garage.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Eileen (Biagi) Nixon, Sons Robert (Phyllis) and Kevin (Deana), Daughters Kim Nixon, Jennifer Burton and Heather (Carlo) Drogo. Eight Grandsons, two Granddaughters and twin Great Grandsons. Brother Tom (Barbara), Sisters Shirley (Dom) Piccolomini, Patsy (Ron) Boyd, and Ruth (Glenn) Houseman, and Sister–in-law Sue Nixon, many nieces and nephews and “Special” Niece and Nephew Penny and Mark Gruber. He was predeceased by his parents, Lester and Clara (Liston) Nixon, Brothers Lester (Eloise) and Ken Nixon, Sister Dorothy (Howard) Hess.
At Bob’s request, services will be private. In memory of Bob, donations may be made to: Samaritan Administration Office, 3906 Church Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
