Even though he wasn't my real uncle, he was always Uncle Bob when I was young. I remember such fun with him, Aunt Joan and all of the girls at their house in Keeneyville. One of my favorite things was watching him process deer at home during hunting season. He was truly skilled. One year, he showed me how the deers ankle still twitched when the tendon was touched, even hours or days after it was cut off. I was fascinated by that. He let me take a deer foot home so I could investigate deeper. My mom wasn't too happy when she found that foot in my bedroom several days later. REST IN PEACE UNCLE BOB.
