Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am by the loss of our dear Rob. Rob sat near me at work (State Dept) and brightened my day whenever he came over to my desk.

We would talk for much longer periods than we should have about life, dreams, family and also old school goofy stuff.  We laughed, joked and vented alot about work. But mostly I cherished Rob's intellectual side, his deep insight into history, love of family and great sense of humor.

He was a good friend, father, co-worker, son and human being. He made friends with everyone, someone we could talk to and one that never complained.

Rob was very kind and also very smart. He will be truly missed - we were all blessed to have met you!

I have known Robert since I was 8 years old, we were friends for over 27 years. I have lost my best friend, I have lost a brother.

My promise to you Robert is that Liam and Logan will grow up together. That they will both know the man that you were. They will know what you meant to me. Liam and Logan will continue on with their friendship and bond, as we had planned since me, and you were just kids.

I love you brother. I know you'll continue looking down on us. You are gone but never will you be forgotten.

"I Love Jesus" - Lanyard

November 18, 2016

I met Rob at SA 9 (Red Cross Building) on the elevator.  I had on a 'I Love Jesus" lanyard, and we were the only two on at that time, and he said, "Why do you Love Jesus"? My response was, "Why wouldn't you", after that, we went on talking about how we BOTH LOVE JESUS...  He invited me to the Weds Bible Study in SA 9 and while I was there I really noticed His Love for the Word of God..

My Brother Rob, "Absent from the body present with the Lord..."

You're in peace now,

Rev. Joseph
