What can I say brother, I love you and I miss you. I don't have many childhood memories but I do remember you. I remember "football" with you in the living room, really it was just me running at you to see if I could get by and you would tackle me. I remember you rehearsing in the basement. I would sit out side the basement window while you played. I thought you were the coolest big brother. I remember making little cardboard buttons, taping safety pins on them with your bands name, Son of Sam, S.O.S, having know clue.

Fast forward to me being 15 and you brought JoJo into our lives and she got me my first and second job. I stood up for the first time in a wedding. You were so handsome and I felt so honored. Got myself into a jam and you and JoJo took me in, I was not ready yet. Life ended up getting in the way and before I knew it, you were gone. The band days were behind you and you started your career in the culinary arts. Again, I was so proud of you, I held my head a little higher when I spoke of my brother the Executive Chef at Michael's :) When you moved to New York in 1994, that was my brother! We let to many years go between once you left. Part of me has regret and the other part said you were gone for a reason and it might be for the best.

We finally came back together and as we caught  up, man you were funny. Once again I was so PROUD of my brother. Who survived himself and some pretty dark days and who was standing on the other side putting others before himself.

In the end as it was in the beginning I was PROUD to to have you as my brother.
