Mr. Robert L. Bethune was born January 18,
1940 to the late Mr. Jimmy Lee Bethune and Janie Buford.

Mr. Bethune confessed Christ at an early age at
Highridge Baptist Church, Inverness Community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three
brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Bethune leaves to cherish his memories:
three daughters, Cassandra Bethune, Hurtsboro,
AL, Janice (Jerry) Bethune and Mary Bethune, all
of Union Springs, AL; one step-daughter, Annie T.
Jones, Union Springs, AL; five sons, Christopher
Bethune, Clifton Bethune, Robert Bethune, all of
Union Springs, AL, Proskey (Beverly) Bethune,
Saco, AL and Freddrick Bethune, Inverness, AL;
five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five
sisters, Janice Owens (Flint) Berry, Alma Owens,
all of Union Springs, AL, Martha Owens, Mary
(McKinley) Sweeney, all of Saginaw, MI and Clara
Pierson, Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Frank Owens,
Irvin Owens, both of Union Springs, AL and
Ingram (Dorthy) Bethune, Ft. Walton Beach, FL;
a very special friend, Maxine Austin; a second
mother, Mrs. Martha Pierson; along with a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
