Mr. Robert Newton Lane, Sr., age 88 of Franklin, Georgia, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.

 Funeral services for Mr. Lane will be conducted on Saturday, January 9, 2016, 2:00 p.m., from the Franklin First Baptist Church.

Mr. Lane will lie- in- state at the church thirty minutes prior to service time.

The interment will follow in the Franklin City Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at the funeral home Friday evening, January 8, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.

Hi Aunt Carolyn and family, we are so sorry about the loss of Uncle Bob.  He was so proud of his family and such joy to speak with about all the stories of each of you. He will be truly missed.
