Brother Robert Lee Banks, was born to the late Robert and Constance Banks SR., on June 14, 1952., in Edgewater, Al. He was one of 10 children. Robert leaves behind two brothers, Lonnie and Mike; and 3 sisters, Erma, Antionette, and Darlene, all of Alabama.

He gave his life to Christ at an early age, and reunited in Christ in 2015, under the pastoring of Apostle Kirsti Kimble.

In 1970, Robert graduated from Dora High School. After graduating high school he proceeded straight to the Army, HOOAH! He resided in the military until he was honorably discharged. After his discharge, he continued to work in his trade of maintenance until his health forced him to cease.

Robert was affectionately loved by his spouse of many beautiful years, Jimmie Ruth Bryant.

Proceeding Robert in death are his siblings; Jerome, Ronnie, Diane, and Joyce.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories and share his love, his children; Ronnica Banks of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Yvonne Banks of Kennesaw, Ga.; Beverly (Will) Sessions, Delois Bryant, and Keyonna Bryant, all of Birmingham, Alabama. A special aunt, Mae Tisbale, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and a loving and special uncle, Tommie Banks, of Birmingham, Alabama; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, all of whom he dearly loved.

A special thanks to a devoted daughter, Delois Bryant; and grand-daughter, Lakyeria Bryant.

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Robert Banks . We will remember him forever.
