Robert Lyman Alexander, born April 13, 1947, passed away on July 1, 2010, surrounded by his Daughters, Son In Law and Best Friend. He was a long time resident of San Diego and Santa Barbara County. He loved to fish in Mexico as much as possible. He was also a previous member of the Corvette Club and loved driving his Corvette. He was an entrepreneur and had many successful business ventures. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Alexander, 3 daughters, Corinne Medel, Rachelle Garcia & Bonnie Meyers, 2 sisters, Annette Alexander & Charlotte Alexander, 2 brothers, J. Alexander & Richard Alexander, his Uncle Jessie Alexander and 8 grandchildren Talia & Tiffany Medel, Brittany, Brett & Bailey Meyes and Amanda, Bradley & Megan Garcia. He also had many good long time friends in San Diego that he truly enjoyed and had lots of fun with. He was always looking forward to a roadtrip with Roy. He loved his grandchildren very much and enjoyed taking them to Seaworld and showiing us around his beloved San Diego everytime we visited. He is truly missed and not a day goes by that I don't think about him. My heart aches and I am very sad that he is gone. I will always remember the good times we had together.
