Dad you was my idol. I'm glad we got to spend so much time together. You are the Best. I will never forget you.
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Robert McIvor, 53 years old, born on May 28, 1939, and passed away on April 1, 1993. We will remember him forever.

Daddy, I never told you enough how much I love you and now I can;t. I love and miss you so much. So often I want to turn to you for help and you aren't there anymore. They took you and Mum too soon. This is just a small part of who my daddy was. I used to buy things to do up my bedroom and my Dad never refused to do things. I helped him when I could. Cooked meals, made his "piece" box for work. If I used his car, I paid for petrol. He thought I did it because I felt obliged but I did it because I wanted to. I even bought him a new car battery for Valentine's. I would run into his bosey as a toddler when he came home then at the age of 17ish I met him from work at our motorbikes, then years on it his car. I love my hero and I hope he knew it.
