From my childhood days, my Daddy has been my Role Model in many ways and I can tell quite a few stories to illustrate the inestimable values he stood for and passed on to me. However, his extraordinary show of humility is one of my most vivid memory of him and I shall illustrate this by an incident that got both of us laughing almost uncontrollably. 
One fine day, I walked into my Daddy's retail pharmacy store wearing a pair of dark glasses. As I was walking in, my Daddy started walking as usual towards the entrance to meet his "new customer" with his usual greeting, "Good afternoon Ma; what can I do for you Ma?"  Before I could finish saying "Daddy, it is me, your daughter", he recognised me and we both burst out laughing. He then humorously reassured me that he would be happy to prioritise my needs even though I was not a customer!

Thank you Lord for your Greatness, Faithfulness, Mercy and Grace!
"4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)"Amen.

Dear Papa,
You were my father and mother from the age of 6 when my dearly beloved mother went home to be with the Lord. You, dear Papa were an amazing "Super-Daddy." You gave me the best that any earthly father could provide for his child and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You worked hard from sunrise to well after sunset to provide food and shelter for your family. Thank you for instilling the fear of God and the value of hard work into me. You were my dearly beloved father, my best friend, my mentor and my colleague. I remember when I sat on your lap at the age of 8 and told you that I was going to be a pharmacist (I could hardly say the word) just like you. You worked hard to provide me with the best education that enabled me to accomplish this by the grace of God.  One of the  greatest honor for me was to work with you and learn so much from you for the 4 years that the Lord gifted to me before you departed to heaven. I was blessed to have you as my professional mentor. I have been blessed to be able to use all that I learnt from you for God's greater glory. I appreciate you and bless you for your love and kindness to me. I pray that by the grace of God, I will also pass the blessing that God has bestowed upon me through you to others in the mighty name of Jesus.

You obeyed God, your good shepherd and he met all your needs and blessed you to provide  for your children's future and also your grand children's future. You Papa were a Good Man as per  Proverbs 13:22: “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children.” (NKJV). Thank you for making me a part of your vision and goals.

I remember this phrase from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, that you always quoted to me where Brutus talks to Cassius saying, “There is a tide in the affairs of men. ... "  You would interpret this to me by saying  when the tide comes I should seize the opportunity because it may never come back to me since it has go to about 7 billion other people in the world. I am happy to let you know that by the grace of God, I have been blessed with several tides and the Lord has helped me to seize them all according to His Will and given me success God's way. God is faithful.
