Mr. Robert Stanley Parks (Snake) was born on March 27, 1955 in Meriwether County to the late Ms. Mary Parks.  God called him home on Sunday morning at 10:25 a.m., January 12, 2014 at West Georgia Hospice LaGrange, Georgia.  He was adopted and raised by Mrs. Rosa Emma Anderson at the age of two weeks old.

Robert Stanley attended Greenville High School, Greenville Georgia. Robert Stanley once was employed for J. O. Barber Lumber Company of Luthersville, Georgia.  The love of the outdoors and fishing was his hobby.  He enjoyed and lived life to the fullest.     Although his health was failing, he still kept his spirit up and was still determined and headstrong.  During his illness he would always smile, laugh and joke with you.  He never complained and always realized God was going to see him through.  No matter what, he kept the faith.  He was loved by everyone who he came in contact with.
