Robert Person, Jr., 79, of Mt. Andrew Community, transitioned into eternal rest Monday, December 29, 2014.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of Center Ridge Baptist Church in Midway, AL with Rev. E.L. Heath, Pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Person will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral services.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

The staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to have served the family of the late Mr. Robert Person, Jr. and join the family in an extreme expression of gratitude for the care and support extended to them during the demise of their precious loved one.

My Dear Uncle Robert,
The day that i heard the news of your passing, I wasn't prepared at all. It was not expected but will we ever be prepared. I am slowly trying to understand the whole process of dying but one thing i am certain of is this..."to be absent from the body, is to be present with the LORD." That makes it all better knowing that you are in the presence of the MOST HIGH. With that being said, i will always love and miss you. Til we meet again you will forever be in my heart.
