Ur gage must be wrong...

December 21, 2010

Robert's dad and mom Dar were in town at the end of Aug 2010 and we decided to go to the casino in Red Wing. Before we left we stopped to put gas in the car because once my gas light comes on you don't have many miles to go. Well we stopped at the Holiday in IGH and I and Robert got out and I swiped my card at the pump and let Rob take over the rest. I run inside and get somethings and then we all pile back in the car. We had been driving for a little while getting further away from any towns and my gas light comes on and I am like Rob you put gas in my car right? He's like yeah it was so and so amt.. Then Keith suggest that the gage must be off or stuck. So we proceed to go and still talking about it the light has now been on for awhile and normally I would have ran out of gas by now, so we all are in agreement that it's stuck or sometin like that, cause Rob put gas in the car. It should be almost full. Well about a mile and half outside of some small town out in the middle of nowhere my car just starts to slowly die and guess what we are out of gas.

In the end result we found out that Rob had went through all the motions at the gas pump but never pumped the gas in to the car. :) We laughed so hard about that.

I think the best part of the experience was trying to have Keith and Rob push my car... Rob and I later joked all the time about it and he always said it was him doing all the work..

Then there was the guy with the horses and where ever he is, thanks for helping out...

What a great day it was, we could laugh about it and it was so nice, the whole day was awesome and we stopped and saw Layla on the way back into South Saint Paul.

Carving Pumpkins

December 21, 2010

The first time we all hung out together and the begining of a great friendship and relationship for all of us. Was before Halloween 2009. We were getting ready to pick up pumpkins and I saw that you had Layla so I picked her up one too. When we got back to the Duplex I invited you two over to carve pumpkins with us. We had so much fun, laughing and getting to know each other better. The kitchen was such a mess afterwards and then I remember hanging out with you and Layla next door and dancing with Layla before I went home in your living room.

It was just the start of us doing many things together.
