Robert Ross "HB" Lowe passed away on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023. He was a true original, one-of-a-kind person, and there will never be another like him. He loved his dogs and cats, books, the state of Alabama, his smoke and his beer, the libertarian party, bad puns, and music, especially Joan Baez's version of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". He would always greet you with a "Howdy", and if you asked him how he was, the answer would invariably be "Terrible", no matter how he was actually doing! He was one of the good guys. He has now joined his best friend, Sara Crutcher, in the great beyond. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Layla Gibson, his longtime friend, Alice Kay O'Dell, four granddaughters, and a host of other friends he made along the way.
