Even though we never got a chance to meet, we feel like we knew you
from the stories we heard through Cindy, Bill, Shayna & Kaylee.
We felt the love they had for you and how much fun they had when they visited. We know the reunion you have with your wife is a joyous one and that you are celebrating being together once again. We could see how much Bill, Cindy, Shayna and Kaylee loved and enjoyed being with you. You were a special Uncle to them. Wish we could have met, but Have no doubt that we will meet some day. Lynnea and Danny Greenhaw

I know when the gates of heaven opened up to you. Everybody was there waiting. I'll never forget your laugh and smile. No one could laugh like you. I'm going to miss all those days I sat on your lap as a little girl and you would hold me and the day you and my son your great Grandson Jeffery Allen Jr. went off walking in that field in Kentucky together only to come back with ticks all over you guys. We had you guys strip LOL!!! You in the out house and me with Jeffery Allen Jr. We have talked and laughed about that day so many times. Then we got locked in the park that evening. But only to finish up a beautiful evening with Bluegrass in a Hoedown barn, you playing your violin. Such good memories!!! I still have all my dolls you bought me from over seas. Thank you Uncle T for always welcoming us into your home and your consistent desire to make us feel loved and welcomed when we were with you. Your amazing talent to play the violin always impressed me, but more than that your dedication and love for your family and friends was the most impressive. Sharing God's love always came first for you and that is something not many people ever learn. Thank you for the love you have demonstrated towards me and my family and you will always be missed.

My family and I will miss you Uncle T. Thank you so much for always opening your home up to us. Your genuine hospitality is a trait that not many people have any more. I will never forget the way you played the violin or how talented you were at making puzzles. Although you are gone, I know you are at peace in heaven and I look forward to seeing you again someday.

Heaven at last with family and friends! I'm thankful I could assist you and Carrie for the past several years. Ben & I loved you. I know you were grateful because of the following birthday cards you sent me.

The love that you share makes a wonderful difference--perhaps even more than you know, Your kindness and care and encouraging words all shine with a comforting glow, Because you're so special, you're wished lots of blessings and joy in whatever you do, With hopes that you know--on your birthday and always--much love is returning to you!

Sept. 22, 2013   Whether I'm calling to just say hello or phoning with troubles to share, It means everything just to know I have you--my sister, who'll listen and care. And it goes both ways--I'm here for you, too, whatever the reason may be--Hoping to be the same kind of good friend that you're always being for me!. T. wrote on the card, "I cannot say anything more truthful than this". I'm thankful we communicated.

Lovingly,Mary and Ben

Uncle T, you will be greatly missed. You had such a kind heart, and always welcomed us to your home. I have always enjoyed listening to you tell stories of your past. Stories about your hunting dogs and how much you loved and cared for them. I am so thankful I was able to be with you in your last days and talk with you. Though I am sad you are gone, I am happy because I know you are having a ball in heaven with your wife whom you loved so dearly. I remember you would always visit Carrie and bring her ice cream though she didn't know who you were. That is love, and I pray I will find that love you showed to your wife, and the love my parents show to one another someday. I love you Uncle T.

It was an honor knowing you, You always loved Debbie and showed it. Throught your travels around the world you always remembered her and the proof is in all those dolls you brought her from lands afar.  You were a grand southern gentleman and now you're with your loved ones that you had missed so much, you're in safe port now with Jesus. Say hello to Big Mama from me.

I know Uncle T. is in a better place and is playing his fiddle in heaven with the angels. Uncle T. loved to have company in his home and I remember how proud he was the day I brought baby Jaelle to his home for the first time. He gave her a huge musical teddy bear and Auburn baseball cap. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

Much love from Debbie, Carlos, Jaelle and Danielle

Uncle T was a Great Uncle to Kaylee, Shayna, Jaelle, and Danielle.  This was the last time we were all together with Uncle T on January 1, 2013.  He welcomed us into his house as always and the girls had a great time seeing him.  We miss you Uncle T!!

Uncle T and his fiddle

February 9, 2014

Uncle T. loved playing his fiddle.  I can remember as a kid, Uncle T. playing to my sister, Debbie and I.  As we got older and had our own families, he would play for all of our families too.  We loved listening to him play.  He even restored old violins that were broken and scarred and made them back into a beautiful instrument.  We will miss his fiddle playing.  I wish I had a picture to share, but can't seem to locate it. He even gave a fiddle to both me and my sister.  We will always cherish them.
