I first met Bob in 1981 when we moved to NBT. I expressed an interest to him about participating in Township government and he suggested ways to get involved. By 1992 he was on of the "Bob's are Wild" group of Township leadership along with myself, Bob Benner (Supervisor) and Fred Groshen who we affectionately called "Freddy Bob". The Township Manager was Bob Bender, Twsp.Engineer, Bob Larrison and Police Sgt(at the time) Bob Scaffidi.
Bob was a wise man, a veteran, a patriot and always interested in the welfare of NBT residents. Especially when it came to public safety and even more so fire safety. Bob leaves behind a rich legacy of public service and will be fondly remembered by those whose lives he touched. God bless you sir and your family.

I met Bob just prior to assuming the presidency of New Britain Township Republican Club. He was always a mentor and attended all meetings and events bringing the members up to date on Township activities along with the other supervisors. He was most proud at the dedication of the Robert V. Cotton Memorial Park in NBT. You were a good man Robert. You will be missed deeply and remembered dearly. RIP sir.
