His Life
July 16, 2015

Mr. Wilson was born May 16, 1940 near Boaz, AL to the late William Ransey Wilson and Myrtle Gladys Smith. Among his favorite pastimes were listening to music and watching western movies. He was most of all a Christian, and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. His love for the Lord was expressed through his love of others. He cherished spending time with family and friends. The most special times came during the holidays. His favorite time of the year was Christmas. He also loved celebrating birthdays. He had an outgoing personality and loved to joke with everyone. The relationships he had with his family, as well as the residents and staff of the Colonial Guest House, brought him great joy. The care shown by the Colonial Guest House staff brought him great comfort in his final years, for which the family is most grateful.

Survivors include: one step-sister, Brenda Roller of Newnan; aunt, Dot Wood of Roswell; a very special aunt and cousin, Imojean Whitley and Betty Sue Wallace, both of Franklin; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Norris.
