Just want to write a tribute to your 69th Birthday. In light of the ongoing pandemic we, Nicole, Emily, Aaron, Jim, and myself flew to Florida while your baby boy Jordan, son James and babygirl Shana,(grandkids) set off on a journey to place your ashes where you were born. We gathered at your mom and dads gravesite and we sang happy birthday to you. Then we all met later and spent a little time with your sister Linda and Barbara. Guess what? Your nieces Amy and Priscilla showed up. Your sister Shirley couldn’t make it nor did Nora but they sent their condolences. It’s ok this pandemic has freaked a lot of people out. They say your cause of death was congestive heart failure. We know you were finally ready to go home. Shana, Jordan, James and grandkids took some of your ashes to Jacksonville beach while the older granddaughters and myself took the majority of your remains to Ormond Beach aka Daytona Beach to scatter. I sat in the sand and we opened up the urn while the sun went down. We sang happy birthday once again. We love you mom. May you finally RIP.

I spent the most time with you. Remembering the good times we spent, playing cards, laughing about our funny bodily functions until we were in tears. You were always there for me. You ruffled your feathers when you were upset but you always forgave me, hugged me, and kissed me. You watched me raise my kids, and you watched a few of them have their own. Because of you, I am the best person I can be. You believed in me and you knew I could do it. Look at me I’m a registered nurse. You were there when I graduated. That was one of OUR proudest moments. You did your best and Im a proud daughter. I remember the day I came to work at the hospital and got the list of patient's I'd have for the day. There your name stood out. How funny is that? I Chuckled. I had to trade you with another nurse but at least I checked up on you. My co-workers loved you. They thought you were something special. Yah...that's my mom! Never a dull moment, always a funny lady. Im glad the chance to spend time with you before you snuck away from us. Until then you will always be my angel!

To my baby sister Cathy she was the youngest of 6 girls and one brother she is everything that was wrote about her she would give you the shirt off her back.Mother,grandma and greatgrandma she loved her family you will missed by all go fishing and bowling with momma and daddy love you

I met this sweet lady when Shana and I met in grade school she was always good to me. She was a second mama to me and loved her just as much as my own mom I will never forget her smile laugh and most of all her humorous phrases she was a beautiful woman inside and out. I know she is smiling on all her children grandchildren and great grandchildren she loved her family. I will always miss you mama but this isn’t goodbye for it’s simply see you later. I love you miss Cathy my second mama
