Bob was a very kind neighbor and a genuine person, he truly had a heart of gold. He will be missed.

Bob passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021 with family by his side.
Beloved husband of Rose (nee Blasco) Drafahl.We spent 33 years together and married 31 of those years.We made it through tough times, not too sure of times and the great times.
Proud father of Tammy (Dale) Kiemele, Robert “Rob” J. (Trisha) Drafahl Jr., Krista Lee Drafahl, James Drafahl, Jamie (Phillip) Aldenderfer,Brian (Chasity Wenninger) Schoenbeck,Matthew (Ashley) Schoenbeck. Dear brother of the late Larry (Dee Dee) Gephart, Don (Jane) Gephart.Proud grandfather of Brooke Krantz, Brea Krantz, Destiny (Jade Snider) Aldenderfer, Brianna (Marquis Davis) Aldenderfer, Braden “Alex” Aldenderfer Evangelina Martinez,Gabriel Martinez, Felicia (Erik Tappendorf) Schoenbeck, Jazmin Schoenbeck, Genevieve Schoenbeck, Bentley Schoenbeck, Gianna Schoenbeck, Braelin Drafahl, Dakota Drafahl and other grandchildren and great grandchildren that Bob will never have the opportunity to know.Dear friends Matt and Linda Gorsuch, Gary Boughton, Kathy Paddack and Dylan (Morgan Spreda) Shifflett.Too many other friends and neighbors to mention.If I have forgotten any one I am truly sorry.
Bob was not able to experience long term relationships with some of his children and grandchildren which Bob regretted to the day he left this world.Bob truly cherished family and loved every one of his family members.Bob drove truck a great majority of his life which contributed to not being there for family, but they were always on his mind with his stories and in his prayers.No excuses, no blame, just too many missed opportunities that slipped away.There was one regret in Bob's life.That was missing out on much of his family’s lives which Bob had no idea on how to change that.
Bob did not know how to change but one thing he would want for his family is to NOT hold onto anger, Ignorance, jealousy etc.Because you lose in the long run in not knowing the true meaning of love.Please keep the faith, an open mind and heart.Those we have held in our arms will be in our hearts forever.

Bob may have shown a tough exterior at times but inside he had a soft and kind heart. We enjoyed having coffee when he came off the road, betting on the Viking/Packer games, sharing how to cook different food, and he loved telling me about his family. It was clear he loved each and every one of you.
Bob will always hold a special place in my heart. Till we meet again my friend.

You will always will be missed. I loved listening to your stories and did listen (may have not taken them) your advice, but you made me laugh, and you and Momo took me and my family in when we had nothing, you are family.
I will always think about you and all of the good you have done for my family, without you and Momo Felicia and I would not be where we are today. I love and miss you. May you and Abigail meet at the rainbow bridge.

The three of us sharing pistachios on way to a Wisconsin deer hunt that only produced laughs, to comparing our children, your camping trip w/us to Homer, your heartfelt visit when Larry was very sick and our many long distance calls about life, stuffed peppers and Trump. For those memories your sister ( in law), niece, nephew, and great niece and nephew and great nephew all wish you farewell, knowing that it is our loss.

I have so many great memories of my Dad, as well as many not so great ones. What I do know without a shadow of a doubt is I was loved. Life is messy as well as miraculous but our time is limited, I learned through my dad holding onto anger only hurts ourselves in the end because all the missed opportunity is forever gone. My dad gave me love and comfort as well as tough love through the years, but I am forever grateful we ALWAYS took advantage of the opportunities to come back together after rough times ❣️ My dad wasn't perfect, but neither are we. Forgive often and Love more!!!
