His Life

 Robert James Minniefield (Dickie) was born on November 8, 1950 to Robert L. & Irene Minniefield in Monroe, La.  He was the fifth child out of eleven children.  He is preceded by death by his parents, one brother Willis Woodard Jr. 


He was united in Holy Matrimony to Pamela.  To this union one child was born.

Robert attended Lincoln Parish School District.  He accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Sibley, La.  He joined Greater New Foundation Fellowship, under the leadership of Pastor Juanita Jones, he worked on the birthday club and Pastor’s Aide.

Robert worked for Miller Brewery Company in Irwindale, Ca for 27years.  He enjoyed going to Palm Springs, Big Bear, Las Vegas, driving home to Louisiana with his family.  He also enjoyed watching Football and basketball, his favorite teams are the “New Orleans Saints” and the “Los Angeles Lakers.”

He leaves, to cherish his memories; his wife Pamela, one son Christopher, one daughter La’Tonya, Two grand-daughters: Tiana and Ramona, One grandson Darius, six sisters: Mamie Carter, Ethel (George) Benton, Dorothy Jean Wade all of Pomona, Ca; Cynthia (Rhondery) Wade of Chino, Ca; Susan (Carl) Woods of Downsville, La; Minnie (Eddie) Scott of Monroe, La; four brothers: Robert Earl (Mary) Minniefield of Ruston, La; Richard (Debra) Minniefield of Pomona, Ca; Randy (Sheri) Minniefield of Victorville, Ca; Ronnie Minniefeild of Upland, Ca; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
