Our condolences to the family. Bob was a true friend of youths in Howell and he volunteered many hours running dances and recreation programs. He was also a friend of the taxpayers and kept a close eye on the fiscal spending by the Township administration. He will be missed. May he RIP .

Bob was a true champion of recreation and Howell youth. Under appreciated, he never expected anything in return, a rarity these days.  Rest in glory my friend, you will live on in the hearts of many.

I had the honor of collaborating with Bob for years, first on the Howell Twp Recreation Board and for ten years in the Howell Sports Federation which was his brainchild and accomplished much during its time. He was integral in bringing the concept of Deerwood Park to reality. He was the bane of many a Mayor because once he set his sights on something he was like a dog with a bone. He was the most persistent man I ever met. He did more for the youth of this town than people will ever know and he was a true hero in the community. Rest easy, my friend.
