Hello all.
Little be known , I met Robert in 1979, he and I worked together and hung out Lol. He introduced me at 20 years old to a lot of new information. Robert was and is a major part in my life. I have not seen him for over 20 years prior to coming to DYRS and the true blessing came when he and i won employee of the month and we were centered in a picture on the wall.

Cheryl bless your heart and may God continue to look over you and the family.

Thanks all.

Mr. Miller the thing I'll miss most about you is your genuineness. You always had words of encouragement, and you were always there whenever help was needed. We had great conversations, and you always gave good advice, and I knew you genuinely cared. I'll miss you and never forget you. Rest in Power good Brother!!

Dear Team,

I am truly saddened to announce that Lead Youth Development Representative Robert Miller passed away last evening. LYDR Miller was a 28 year veteran of DYRS who gave of himself tirelessly and touched many many lives over his extraordinary career. For many years and countless hours, LYDR Miller provided quality care, wise counsel and skilled supervision to DYRS youth. Yet LYDR Miller was also a very important role model, coach, leader, and friend to hundreds of staff over the span of many years. it is no exaggeration to say that LYDR Miller was a pillar of the department and a treasure to the District.
LYDR Robert Miller, a true leader and beloved colleague, will be sorely missed but will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him, worked with him and loved him. Let us pray for the Miller family and uplift the life and work of LYDR Miller as an inspiration for us to support and strengthen one another as we seek to serve our young people and their families.

Respectfully,
Clinton Lacey

You were TRULY one of the most genuine individuals who have graced this planet.  You've impacted SO MANY on your journey here with us. I keep all of the advice you've given me for the years we've known each other. Thank you for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself and giving so much of you to us and to others we probably don't even know. JOB WELL DONE, ROBERT MILLER!!!! Job well done. Gonna miss you, Unc!!! From this day forward, to honor you, I will try to be the best at what I do at all times because that's one of the many pieces of advice you gave to me. Rest in eternal paradise.
