Robert “Bob” Yuro
Age: 82 – Howell, NJ

Bob passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, June 18, 2022.

Bob was born on February 26, 1940, and was raised in Perth Amboy, NJ. After getting married in 1962 to the love of his life, Bonnie, he settled in Howell NJ in 1964 and started his family.

While his children were young, Bob was heavily involved in youth sports, coaching his five sons in baseball and soccer.  On those rare occasions where he wasn’t coaching, Bob was always at the field watching his sons. Bob was also involved with his church, St. Veronica’s, and served as an usher for over 25 years.  He and Bonnie also went on many pilgrimages to Europe through the church. Most recently, Bob enjoyed shooting pool and throwing horseshoes at the Knights of Columbus in Jackson, or just hearing about the latest updates regarding his 18 grandchildren.

Bob was a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor, who got into land surveying right out of high school. After working for various companies in Middlesex and Monmouth Counties, he started his own business in Howell in 1976 and ran the business for over 45 years.

Bob is predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie.

He is survived by his five sons; Robert and his wife Jean, Richard and his wife Michelle, Ronald and his wife Monica, Michael and his wife Tracy and Gary and his wife Stacey, along with his 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
