Robyn Lynn Richey Oemisch of Xenia, Ohio died peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Jamestown, Ohio at 5:28 A.M. under the care of Hospice of Dayton. Robyn had been sick for some time due to complications from lung cancer.

Robyn was born in Xenia, Ohio on January 21, 1957, the daughter of William L. and Edith M. (Brammer) Richey, both deceased. Robyn is survived by a sister, Joyce Richey Marin (Carlos) of Morehead, Kentucky and a brother William K. Richey (Barbara) of Xenia, Ohio. She is survived by six nephews and nieces who loved her very much - Joseph C. Marin (Alexandra), Erica M. Richey Bautista (Erick), Tony T. Marin (Michelle), Tyler W. Richey (Lauren), Alex W. Marin (Sierra) and Jenna R. Richey Markle (Kyle).She is also survived by three adorable and energetic great-nieces and a great-nephew that she loved and brought her great joy - Mila Grace Bautista, Noah Joseph Marin and Waverly Ann Marin.

Robyn graduated from Xenia High School in 1975 where she was a member of the Xenia High School drill team. After graduation she began a 32 year career working for SuperValu Warehouse and Offices as an Administrative Assistant in Xenia. While there, she made many lifelong friends of whom many sent her cards when she became ill. She was a member of the First Church of Christ on Ledbetter Road in Xenia where she was active in the youth group led by Dale Holzbauer and enjoyed singing in TeenTones. Hobbies she enjoyed were traveling, working crossword puzzles, golf, bowling and watching old TV shows. Her favorite places to travel were visiting her dear friends in Florida, trips to Montana and Disney World with family! She brightened many lives with her beautiful smile and generous heart and she will be greatly missed!

Robyn will be laid to rest alongside her mom and dad at Woodland Cemetery, 281 Dayton Avenue in Xenia. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 25 at 10:00 A.M. for close family only and will be officiated by Dr. Andy Spencer, minister of First Church of Christ, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Robyn.
